12-Month Hardware Warranty Policy

1. Scope of Warranty

All certified refurbished laptops sold by FARASAT KHAN T/A Frieda Store include a comprehensive 12-month return-to-base (RTB) warranty covering hardware component defects under normal operating conditions.

2. Covered Components

• Motherboard & CPU/GPU: Any internal logic board failure, power delivery issue, or unexpected thermal shutdown.
• Memory & Storage: RAM errors, NVMe SSD controller failures, or bad memory addressing.
• Display & Backlight: Panel hardware failures, horizontal/vertical line appearances, or backlight LED malfunctions.
• Keyboard, Trackpad & Biometrics: Switch actuation failure, trackpad haptic motor failure, or Touch ID/Windows Hello reader malfunction.
• Internal Power & Charging Ports: Type-C/Thunderbolt charging controller and physical power port defects.
• Battery: Covered for 6 months ensuring minimum 80% remaining capacity retention.

3. Claims Process

If you experience any hardware defect, email support@friedastore.co.uk with your order number. Our Barnet engineering team will provide a prepaid Royal Mail Tracked 24 return shipping label. Units are repaired or replaced within 48 hours of receipt.
